Industrial digitalization: a path to collaborative governance. Case studies


This study, carried out with the support of German cooperation, through the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), under the Program “Support for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Latin America and the Caribbean” , and the project “Inclusive and sustainable industrialization in Latin America”, presents an overview of the most recognized industrial strategies at a global level focused on developing new productive and innovation capacities in companies to adopt advanced production methods that ensure competitive advantages and allow deal with the reconfiguration of value chains.
It is an ECLAC contribution to the debate and reflection on the importance of industrial transformation and the generation of new technological capabilities as key elements to boost productivity and move towards a more inclusive and sustainable development model in the region.
